Many people with curly hair often put some sort of hair grease or gel to tame their curls - why not use the natural oils that the body makes? I'm always glad to be an inspiration. I'm inspired by your household notebook idea...I've got all the parts...I just have to take the time to put it together...might help me keep track of things better! I keep looking over at your right hand column and wondering if I'm brave enough to be like you and not only set some goals for this month, but actually post them so I'm held accountable! :-) I keep contemplating going "no poo" but haven't ever taken the plunge .... I've often wondered if that would be healthier/better for my daughter's super curly and easily dried out hair, too. It seems like whatever we use for her just causes frizz and I always just buy what is cheapest (so not exactly healthy) to wash my hair with. Hmmm ...
